The fonds consists of audio reels and dubbed audio cassettes of a radio programs hosted by Jack Carbutt at CKPG Radio in Prince George, and includes transcriptions in electronic and textual format. This collection has been divided into the following three series: "Audio Recordings" (2000.21.1); "Transcriptions" (2000.21.2); and "Miscellaneous Materials" (2000.21.3).
Carbutt, JackCollection consists of over 120 images, copy prints, originals, digitized images, postcards and reproductions of textual materials relating to the pioneers, wildlife, and trapping of the Prince George region.
Boudreau, JackThis fonds consists of material created and collected by Kent Sedgwick, author, professor, Prince George urban planner, and prominent local historian. This body of records documents Sedgwick’s research interests in the history and geography of the Central Interior of British Columbia. The fonds also reflects his work as a Prince George Senior City Planner, his involvement in local community organizations, and his teaching at the College of New Caledonia and the University of Northern British Columbia.
The fonds includes:
1) Photographs taken by Kent Sedgwick across British Columbia, predominantly in the Central Interior region;
2) Research subject files consisting of original research documentation and collected reference material, predominantly focusing on topics relating to local history, city planning, and geography in the Prince George area and the British Columbia Central Interior;
3) Documentation of Kent Sedgwick’s community involvement, including records created over the course of his work with the Prince George Heritage Commission, , the Alexander Mackenzie Heritage Trail Association, and other local organizations;
4) Writings, publications, and lectures written, edited, or conducted by Kent Sedgwick;
5) Professorial records consisting of lectures and material relating to Sedgwick’s teaching appointments at the College of New Caledonia and the University of Northern British Columbia;
6) Maps collected by Kent Sedgwick covering historical and contemporary British Columbia.

Series consists of research material collected for the Island Cache Recovery Project. Includes resources photocopied from participants in the study (particularly material collected by Bob Parris), including newspaper articles, photographs, and personal correspondence. Also includes research material gathered by the researchers from other sources, such as copies of maps, articles, and public records.
Collection consists of material resulting from Dr. Mike Evan's Island Cache Recovery Project Collection. Includes oral history interviews of former Island Cache (Cottonwood Island) residents on recording media (cassette and VHS) as well as transcripts of the oral histories. Also includes administrative records for the project and photocopies of background research material used for the project, such as Prince George city records, newspaper clippings, photographs, and correspondence.
Evans, Michael JohnFile contains slides depicting Island Cache on Cottonwood Island in Prince George, B.C. These photographs were taken in April 1970 by students involved in a Geography class at the College of New Caledonia. They record the community of Island Cache before the major flood in the spring of 1972.
These slides were utilised by CNC Geography Class taught by Alistair McVey before the 1972 flood and by Kent Sedgwick after the 1972 flood. Kent Sedgwick retained the original slides, except for two aerial views of the flooded area in the spring of 1972, which were from the in the City Planning Division files.
File consists of textual records created by Iris Communications during their filming of UNBC footage. Includes timing notes for footage, film shot descriptions, and videotape listings.
Subseries consists of footage created by Iris Communications, a video production company contracted by UNBC in 1994 to create promotional videos for the new university. The final promotional videos were titled "North to the Future" and "Northern Is...". Besides the master versions of these two films, this subseries also includes all of the raw footage filmed by Iris Communications used to create the videos. This footage predominantly consists of interviews (with administrators, students, faculty, stakeholders, and community members), Northern BC scenery, shots of the new UNBC Prince George campus, and recordings of important UNBC events from 1994 (such as the opening of the campus by Queen Elizabeth).
