Item consists of the panel on "Applying Traditional Knowledge to Future Initiatives: First Nations Historical and Future Relationships with the Forests" at the the "Exploring Our Roots: Forest History in Our Communities Annual Conference of the Forest History Association of BC" at UNBC in Prince George, September 19, 2009.

The Archie Creek site is the informal name used for a research installation established in 1971 east of Prince George by the Canadian Forest Service, and subsequently abandoned by the end of that decade. Dr. Paul Sanborn revisited the site in 1995, and sampled forest floors and mineral soils across a range of conifer-broadleaf mixtures established by natural establishment of broadleaf trees among planted lodgepole pines.

Series consists of a photograph album from A. H. Holland, a British Columbia Land Surveyor, that was created while working in the Central Interior, the Cariboo, the Chilcotin and southeast British Columbia. This album visually documents steamboat, stagecoach and horse travel in British Columbia and some First Nation village sites. It also captures preparatory survey work and dawn of the age of rail travel.

Collection consists of a photograph album from A. H. Holland, a British Columbia Land Surveyor, that was created while working in the Central Interior, the Cariboo, the Chilcotin and southeast British Columbia. This album visually documents steamboat, stagecoach and horse travel in British Columbia and also captures the prepatory work and dawn of the age of rail travel.

File consists of a published copy of the Canadian Technical Report of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences No. 1386, entitled "Assessment of the Influence of Gas Supersaturation on Salmonids in the Nechako River in Relation to Kemano Completion" written by Alderdice and Jensen of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. Also includes final drafts of the work and memoranda related to its publication.

File consists of copies of Department of Fisheries and Oceans correspondence and memoranda regarding the Nechako River court action with Alcan. Also includes copies of the "Amended Statement of Defence to Amended Counterclaim" for the Attorney General of Canada v. Alcan case.

File predominately consists of correspondence relating to the Canada v. Alcan case. Includes an affidavit for the case, correspondence to and from legal counsel, a photocopy of Envirocon's "Review of the 1984 Nechako River Hydrothermal Monitoring and Control Program" sent from Alcan, and internal DFO memoranda.
