              The Roy & Marge McDougall Collection consists primarily of textual, photographic and cartographic materials and ephemera related to their life in the Rocky Mountain Trench region of Northern BC where they operated a trading post at Findlay Forks, c.1930s-c.1960s. Also includes a diary of T. Balty, believed to have been the subsequent owner of the trading post. Materials include diaries, correspondence, documents & writings, 23 diaries, and 9 ledgers & address books dated from c. 1915 to 1961. Also includes 15 maps of Northern BC and 1 map of Oiseau River Area, southeast Manitoba. Photographic images depict people, landscapes, fur trade, buildings, commerce, shipping, and transport. Roy McDougall was a coroner; five of the photographs depict deceased persons.
