          Cassiar Asbestos Corporation Ltd opened a second mine in 1967 at what became the one-industry town of Clinton Creek, Y.T. File contains photographs depicting progressive construction of buildings at the Clinton Creek mine, plant, townsite and powerhouse. Mine photos depict the crusher site and tramline station. Plant photos depict the dryer, fibre storage, mill, service, vault, and office buildings, as well as the dry rock storage tunnel, reclaim tunnel, and loading dock. Construction living quarters are depicted as well as the construction of residences at the townsite. The power house was built south of the town and plant, on the shore of the 40 Mile River. Some annotations describe the type of material being used for construction.

          Postcard depicts Field station in the Rockies. Man standing on the left with a bowler hat was Chris McGregor, a professional (mining?) engineer. Earliest frank seen for the postcard was in July 1906.

          Chute depot on the CPR line

          Photograph depicts the Chute depot at mile 106.5 on the CPR line in the Carmi Subdivision. It is a totally isolated location, but not reachable by road. The photo shows the only surviving large building. The rail here is dated 1942.

          Photograph depicts a gondola converted to a chip car at the Creston CPR yard. It was built of converted in July 1953 and is car #343319. It was awaiting loading when the picture was taken.

          Photograph depicts locomotive #1044 of MacMillan Bloedel. It was removed from service in 1970 and placed subsequently on display. Built by H.K. Porter Company, Pittsburgh in 1924.

          File consists of information on Charles William Digby. Clifford was an Irish-born miner, trader, hotel owner and political figure in British Columbia. He represented Cassiar from 1898 to 1903 and Skeena from 1903 to 1907 as a Conservative in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. Clifford also a partner in one of the Kitselas mines. Material includes reproductions of articles, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and "Northern B.C. In Retrospect Who's Who" article written by Audrey L'Heureux.
