          Series consists of employee timetables for the Canadian Pacific Railway, the Canadian National Railway, the Pacific Great Eastern Railway, BC Rail, the Great Northern Railway, the Great Northern Railway, the Burlington Northern Railway, the BC Electric Railway, and the BC Harbours Board Railway. Also known as “working timetables”, these are a valuable research tool that include timings at every station or other significant location along the train's journey, the train's reporting number, its maximum speed, and any other information relevant to the operation of the train.

          Subseries contains employee time books and payroll ledgers developed by various companies and union groups for the use of rail workers and railways. Includes a time and payroll ledger used by Magofin Bergh & co., a railway construction contractor.

          Photograph of several vehicles parked along a road. A large crowd is visible gathering in the background. Printed annotation on recto reads: "Elks Flag Day, McBride, B.C." Handwritten annotation on verso reads: "Jan. 5th 1945. Dear Dad, Am working in a lumber camp, advised by Prof. Johnson and Prof Casey. Altitude about 2,300. Think I will like it, if they don't make me work to[sic] heavy. the Climate and the grub is swell. Otherwise not so hot. Bye for now. Love Will." Postcard is addressed: "To: Mr. A.W. Hockin Big Valley, Alberta. From. W. Hockin c/o E.U. Lamming McBride, B.C."

          Photograph depicts a 2 truck 50 ton Shay locomotive owned by Elk Falls Ltd. It was built about 1925 and brought to Vancouver Iron and Engineering Works from somewhere on Vancouver Island and was refitted from June 25 to August 16, 1960. It received new tubes, odd repairs, cladding, painting, and a given number. It came to Elk Falls in Campbell River in August or September 1960.

          Photograph depicts the CPR line at Eholt, located at mile 108.7 from Nelson on the Boundary Subdivision. It was a formerly bustling junction with the left-hand spur leading to Phoenix. Nor it only has 3 way freight trains a week from Nelson to Midway. The view is looking west.

          Photograph depicts the eastern portal of CPR Mount Macdonald Tunnel. The door was lifted vertically upwards. The ventilation system pushed air into the tunnel from a halfway vertical shaft, purging the bore of exhaust gases that came from the locomotives.
