Records include news releases, newspaper clippings, speech by the Minister of Labour, copies of bills and acts, and reports. Includes correspondence regarding work safety, strikes and labour disputes, the Affirmative Action Program, employment conditions, the closure of Information Canada, the Canada Labour Code, union membership, and the Aluminum Company of Canada (Alcan) dispute of 1975.

Photos generally feature the work sites, supplies, vehicles, machinery, and work in progress at each location.
