Map depicts historical rail lines in the BC lower mainland, including trackage for the BC Electric Railway, the Canadian Northern Pacific Railway, the Canadian Pacific Railway, the Great Northern Railway, and the Pacific Great Eastern Railway, among others.

Contains photographs generally depicting landscapes, water scenes, and views of towns on British Columbia's north coast. Includes images featuring sternwheelers and other boats, canneries, fisheries, and individuals. Locations depicted include Port Essington and Port Simpson (Lax Kw’alaams) in BC, Fort Wrangell in Alaska, and other unknown towns. Includes one photograph of a man named Max Lohbrunner, and many other images depicting unidentified individuals.

File contains photographs of a report completed in 1980 depicting the ambulance garage, as well as the interior and exterior of the hospital building in Cassiar, B.C. Each room is captured, as well as medical equipment such as the X-ray, audiometer, lung function apparatus, and autoclave. A doctor, two nurses, and several patients are shown. Accompanying report contains a description of the medical facilities in Cassiar including a detailed budget, description of staffing and utility requirements, and a floor plan of the facilities.

In addition there are two albums of Cassiar Hospital and Pharmacy Staff engaging in social functions. These photographs appear to be informal and depict staff parties, people at work and some of the patients, including their thank you notes to the Cassiar Hospital staff.

File contains images depicting room by room view of a house in Cassiar identified as house 288. Handwritten annotation on verso of photographs: "288 June-9-1992". Photographs originally found in file labeled "TOWN ADMINISTRATION Small Business 1981"; it is likely that these images form part of the process documentation for a small business license.

File contains slides depicting Premier Mine in Hyder, Alaska.

There are three different sections of film footage on this reel.

The first is of two men and a young boy going fishing from a river bank, gutting and cleaning the fish they catch and baiting their hooks with mill eggs. There is more filming of three other men going down the river in a small boat and then banking it to fish. They gut and clean their fish as-well. They load their small boat into the back of a red pick-up truck after they are finished their day.

The second part of this film reel begins with a map of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. Men on snowmobiles traveling to an abandoned log home and acreage. They then break through the ice on the nearby lake and begin to retrieve their previously set beaver trap, which has a caught beaver. The men then travel to a different location and set up a beaver trap. There is some additional footage of two moose in the snow as the men travel to a third location and retrieve another caught beaver from under the ice. The men return to their cabin and skin the beavers.

The third part of this film is footage of Anahim Lake village, birds in the area, wild flowers, cattle drive, children fishing on the river and swimming, a pelican on a lake, and people in a boat traveling.

Possible other locations of filming include Bella Coola River, Dean River, Ulkatcho, Ulkatcho Mountains, and Tweedsmuir Provincial park.

File contains material collected by Bill Stowell over the course of his career in the BC forestry industry relating to the conflicts and partnerships between Indigenous peoples and the forestry industry. Primarily consists of clippings and photocopies from newspapers and periodicals. Also includes papers, meeting minutes of the COFI Native Claims Task Force, notes, and seminar materials. Records include press releases, reports, informational pamphlets, brochures, and newspaper clippings. Includes correspondence regarding industrial research and development in northern BC; Cassiar Asbestos mine improvements; the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre; conversion to the metric system; Trident Trigull aircraft; the Federal Business Development Bank; the Enterprise Development Program; and inquiries to the Ministry of State for Small Business.
