File consists of incoming correspondence from the general public and politicians regarding matters related to northern development via the Agricultural and Rural Development Act (ARDA), along with outgoing correspondence from Iona Campagnolo. Includes correspondence regarding applications for subsidies through ARDA from constituents; correspondence regarding the establishment of reindeer husbandry in Atlin, BC and its economic benefits; an informational report on the proposed District Experimental Reindeer Ranch; correspondence regarding a ski facility proposed by the Rainbow Lake Ski Club on Mount Hays near Prince Rupert; a presentation by the Rainbow Lake Ski Club to the Department of Agriculture "Regarding ARDA Assistance for Mount Hays Gondola Project" in September 1975, which includes 3 colour photographs of the proposed terminal area on Mount Hays; an informational report on the "Special ARDA Program for British Columbia: A Federal-Provincial Program" by the Department of Regional Economic Expansion; "Notes for an Address to the North Central Municipal Association of Williams Lake, BC" on June 12, 1975 by Campagnolo; correspondence to and from Don Jamieson, Minister of Regional Economic Expansion; and a copy of a 1972 news release regarding the "Special ARDA Agreement with British Columbia".
