Fonds consists of records relating to the personal, business and political life of H.G.T. Perry and as such, has been divided into the following four series: 1) Photographs; 2) Political Activities; 3) Business Ventures; 4) Personal Life; and 5) Miscellaneous Historical Information Files. Also includes material relating to his son, Frank Perry, and his failed political campaign. Includes World War II and Post-War printed materials.
Types of records included in this fonds include Speakers' Decisions (1877-1943) in the BC Legislative Assembly, maps, publications, reports, correspondence, advertisements, telegrams, resolutions, minutes, annual reports, telegrams, resolutions, reports, speeches, press releases, proposals, plans, charts, file notes, memoranda, newspaper clippings, scrapbooks, ephemera, postcards and photographs.
Prince George Railway & Forestry Museum Collection
The Prince George Railway & Forestry Museum Society Collection consists primarily of textual, photographic, and cartographic records related to the regional developments of the railway industry in Northern BC. A predominant portion of the collection is made up of material from the Canadian National Railway; other railways represented include the Pacific Great Eastern Railway, the British Columbia Railway (BC Rail), the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway, the Grand Trunk Railway, the Intercolonial Railway, and the Okanagan Express. Significant geographical areas covered include Prince George, the Peace River Region, Terrace, Bulkley Valley, Hazelton and Prince Rupert.
The forestry industry is represented in the collection with operational and financial records from Fyfe Lake Sawmill Ltd., which operated southwest of Prince George in the 1950s.
The collection has been organized into series according to creator, each of which also has been arranged to subseries, file and item level, where applicable. This collection consists of eight series, as follows:

4) British Columbia Railway (BC Rail)

I saw a boat upside down in this Canyon it had a bundle of blankets tied on it and one oar was dancing in the whirlpool. This made my hair stand straight up and down.”

The Kent Sedgwick fonds consists of 5.8 linear meters of textual records relating to his research interests of the history of the Central Interior of British Columbia. Sedgwick was an urban planner with the City of Prince George, as well as one-time instructor in geography at CNC and part time lecturer in Geography at UNBC.
The subject files contain original research notes, research notes from interviews, news clippings, research copies of photos/maps – primarily related to the history and historical geography of the Central Interior of BC, especially Prince George, Giscome and East Line communities covering the period c.1900-c.2010. Research also includes extensive notes on geographic features, landscapes, interpretative trails, architectural history, industrial history and First Nations history of region. Also research notes on Alexander Mackenzie, George Dawson and geographical research related to Northern Alberta.
