Item is a photograph of Mr. Williston receiving five silver teaspoons with the centennial crest, one for each 100 hundred miles of a personal centennial project which was to run 500 miles, the equivalent of the distance to Prince George. The spoons were presented by YMCA Physical Education Director Art Burgess (left) and YMCA Secretary James A. McConnell. The run took place on the YMCA track in Victoria.

The painting shows the natural grandeur of B.C. partially blocked out by a super motel with a bewildered moose forced to become an ornamental fountain. The whole forecourt is being bulldozed to make way for the Centennial fountain.

Photograph depicts a 3 car train that was ridden by the President of the CPR. Nelson was celebrating its centennial as a municipality and had invited him as an honoured guest. The 3 car train consisted of a sleeper-"Killanney," built in 1916, a Diner-"Assiniboine," built in 1929, and a parlor/observation car-"Mount Stephen," built in 1926.

Photograph depicts a Great Northern Railway interchange curve to CPR tracks near Raymur Avenue/ Powell Street, Vancouver. Visible is a part of an export train, consisting of 11 (dead) General Motor locomotives hauled by a GNR switcher towards the Centennial Dock area. The process of destruction was to take place in Pusan by Korean National Railways.

Photograph depicts a steam grab belonging to the Vancouver Pile Driving & Contracting Co. Ltd, mounted on a scow and transferring gravel from another scow on the seaward side and rear of the wall. The portion in the foreground will become solid ground but it is now exposed to tides. The construction of the new pier is to the west of the Centennial Pier on the site of the original Hastings Mill.

This original film footage clip depicts the inaugural train run of the Pacific Great Eastern (PGE) Railway line into Fort St. John in Oct. 1958. W.A.C. Bennett stops to speak at communities along the route, including Prince George and Dawson Creek. Other personalities, such as "Ma" Murray were also in attendance. The train was called the "Peace River Special". BC centennial flags are visible at the events. This film clip is believed to be a continuation of film clip 2017.5.2.3 "Pacific Great Eastern Railway (PGE) Trip with Premier Bennett from Vancouver to Prince George".
