Photograph depicts a wood and fabric AVRO 504K fighter, built in 1919. It was first developed in Britain in 1913. Now powered by Clerget Rotary. The fighter was used by the RCAF as a biplane trainer until 1928. This type was also used as crop duster, stunt machines, etc.

Photograph depicts a RAF Avro Vulcan Bomber that flew from Britain directly to BC for the Centennial International Airshow with a fuelling stop at Gander. The bomber was first introduced in 1952 and was built by AV Roe and Co. Manchester.
This 16 page booklet includes illustrations and a program of events, along with a short history of Williams Lake, a short history of stampedes, a "Dude Dictionary", and a poem entitled "The Old Cow Puncher". Also includes a summary about the "Cariboo Indians" (possibly referring to the Secwepemc Nation and other First Nations near the Williams Lake area) contemporary to the time that contains information that is now considered inaccurate.
