The photos were taken for documentary purposes during an evaluation procedure in which the bits were tested and compared. 32 of the photos are adhered to three reports containing detailed analysis of the condition and function of the drill bits used. Reports were addressed to "E. Komperdo / Assist. Mine Superintendent, Production," and were sent by "Bob Clark / Industrial Engineer" and "E. Isaaks / Engineer Trainee." All of the photos are heavily annotated on verso and recto, often documenting the date, bit number, drilling depth, and notes on general condition.

This file contains images of a land dispute around Cassiar. The photographs depict a cabin on a lot, a destroyed cabin, and outhouses. The accompanied documents in the original file refer to the subjects of "Claims, Leases, and Land lots," and it is implied that there were issues of squatters, illegal occupation, and mineral claims.
The fonds consists of 4 letters by Collier written to McKilvington and 1 letter from McKilvington to Collier. Collier's letters discuss the problems in getting a signed copy of his book to McKilvington, and also respond to McKilvington's letter with information about mutual friends in the Chilcotin and with opinions on the depletion of wildlife in the Chilcotin district. McKilvington's letter is autobiographical, and also contains his opinions on the depletion of wildlife in the Chilcotin, gun control and provincial game regulations. One letter is a response to a letter McKilvington sent to the provincial government on the mismanagement of wildlife, ostensibly written by Ken Kiernan (BC Minister of Recreation & Conservation) but, according to Collier, probably written by Jim Hatter, Kiernan's deputy. The newspaper clippings include an obituary of Collier, an article and letter by Collier, and two photographs of Mrs. Collier taken at local functions.

The following maps are supposed to be included in the but were missing upon arrival at the Archives: fish & topography, cutting permits & roads, and soils.
Photographs are panoramas taken from the Churchill BC Forest Service Lookout, located at latitude 54°04' and longitude 122°16'. The photographs were bound together and include a transparent grid that was intended to be used for locating forest fires.
