File consists of records relating to the appointment of Dr. Robin Fisher as Full Professor and Chair of the History Department at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC). Fisher was the first Chair of the History Department at UNBC and was instrumental in developing the department from the ground up. Includes Fisher's letters of appointment, the pension plan, a UNBC "Notes for Applicants for Posts" brochure, a UNBC "Co-operative Education Program" brochure, a UNBC "International Studies and Programs" brochure, a draft of the first history courses offered by the UNBC History Department, a note about Fisher's research and teaching interests, a pamphlet for the UNBC group insurance plan in 1993, a UNBC employee welcome booklet, Fisher's 1992 Curriculum Vitae (resume), and a newspaper job advertisement for UNBC departmental chairs.
