Digital video recording is an episode of Spotlight on UNBC from July 1994. Features include interviews with students about why they attend UNBC, course offerings and programs at UNBC, the hiring of faculty and their qualifications, a tour of campus, anticipation of the Royal Visit to UNBC and the planning involved, regional information sessions and regional recruitment for UNBC, exchange students from Sweden, the issue of off-campus housing, the development of a souvenir magazine for the Queen's visit and the opening of UNBC, and events with First Nations to build connections with UNBC. Includes interviews with Bryan Hartman (Program Chair of Education); John Aisenstat (UNBC Special Events Coordinator); Gloria Benazic (UNBC Ceremonies Officer); Doug Baker (UNBC Faculty); Jon Swainger (UNBC History); John Glarner (Vazjo University, Sweden); Randall Brazzoni (UNBC Housing Manager); Roy Nagel (Editor, Prince George Citizen); Alison McDonald (UNBC Director of First Nations programs); Bill Pozer (Stanford University); and UNBC students Rabia Chung, Jennifer Smith, Israel Prabhudass, and Ilona Schauffer.
