File consists of research material regarding the Kelowna Pacific Railway, which was created in 2000 from its predecessor, the CNR Okanagan Branch (which existed since February 15, 1926). Predominantly consists of photocopy reproductions, excerpts from books, and clippings from periodicals. Includes information about the creation of the KPR, the CN Okanagan Branch, the CNR Lumby Branch, KPR diesel locomotives, and KPR freight operations. Also includes an article by Robertson and Elchlepp entitled "Rails in the Okanagan" and a booklet by Overend and Bardsley entitled "Along the KPR: A Short History of one of Canada's Newest Railroads".
