The Church Missionary Intelligencer. New Series. 1 September 1873

File predominantly consists of correspondence to Rev. W.H. Collison from the Church Missionary Society. However, some letters in this file are also from individual parishioners, fellow clergymen, Massett councillors, and the American Geographical Society.

This unpublished manuscript, authored by W.H. Collison and handwritten by Joyce Collison, comprises 29 identifiable chapters. Content of this manuscript appears to be focused upon the retelling of First Nations stories. The donor identified that this manuscript was intended for publication but was never completed.

Photographs within this file document natural and artificial features across the landscape of Northern British Columbia. This landscape also includes the physical, built, urban and industrial landscapes; topography; site plans; boundaries, districts, reserves, parks, sanctuaries, towns, villages and cities, etc.

Photographs within this file pertain to modes of transportation and transportation routes (including construction, surveying and traveling).

File contains linguistic notes prepared by W.H. Collison and sermons written by W.H. Collison in various First Nations languages.

Notebook contains two stories: "The Finding of the Crystals" and "Tit for Tat or The Porcupine and the Beaver". These stories are also found in the Collison manuscript.

Notebook contains Collison's recollections of local history as he heard it, and of the events he encountered during some of his time in ministry.

File contains postcard photographs portraying life in various Northern BC Communities. Images depict buildings and streets, church structures, harbours and docks, and views of the shore from the water to name a few.

File contains two newspaper clippings, one from the B.C. Saturday Sunset of September 14, 1912 concerning economic development on Vancouver Island and the second from The Globe dated Saturday March 23, 1907 which contains two photographs of Prince Rupert.

File contains postcards portraying life in Prince Rupert, B.C. Images depict harbour scenes, street scenes (Third Avenue, Sixth Street, Central Street, and Mainstreet), airplanes, large ships, fisheries, city aerials, parades, military, a dog sled mail team, and a frozen fishing boat.

File contains postcards portraying life in Prince George, B.C. Images depict street scenes (George Street, Central Avenue, and Hamilton Avenue), government buildings, Hotels, a theatre, a baseball game, and construction of a pier.

File consists of notes, clippings, and reproductions relating to Third Avenue in Prince George. Includes: "Pioneer background profile" typescript document (2002) and "Permit to Erect, Alter, Add to, Repair, or Move a Building or to Install Plumbing" application to the Province of British Columbia (1950-1952). Also includes photographs depicting Third Avenue in Prince George (2002).

• File contains photographs done to item level description, depicting miscellaneous people and locations at or around Cassiar, B.C. This includes a photograph of renowned prospector William (“Bill”) Storie, Bill Pratt with a fox, a community gathering in a someone's home, and a hockey game.
• Also included but not to item level is a photo of "David Madore" as part of his application to Cassiar, photo of "William Field" a local hire maintenance mechanic, and photos of a RNWMP Post sign (Royal North West Mounted Police) that depicts annotations "Indian grave" , "Miners Cabin" , "Road House" , "Customs House" , "St. James Church" , "Swansons Store" etc., and 15 negatives of various individuals at what appears to be someone's home.
• Also included is cabin at Boya Lake, which used to be named Chain lake, located off the Stewart-Cassiar highway. This land of this cabin may have been involved legal issues , which was related to people at Cassiar.

File consists of 2 Prince George Golden Jubilee (1965) coins and 3 Corporation of the District of Kitimat (1953) coin.

File contains photographs depicting an award night that took place in the late 1950s or early 1960s in the old panabode Recreation Centre at Cassiar B.C.. Photos feature groups of people posed with trophies, a family posed together, a large group on stage, the audience, and musicians including individuals with a trumpet, saxophone, guitar and violin. Fred Murray (early Cassiar staff member) is featured in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th photograph.

File consists of photographs depicting Kitimat, British Columbia in a bound flip book.

File consists of clippings, notes and reproductions relating to neighbourhoods within Prince George. Includes the following clipped articles from the Prince George Citizen newspaper: "Booming '60s and '70s filled our bowl" (Aug. 1986); "Neighbours..." (May 1993); "Street names" (1983); and "SFG streets named after early settlers" (June 1984). Also includes a lithograph print of "Spruceland subdivision" at Stuart Drive.

File consists of the "Prince George Echo" newspaper vol. 1 no. 50 (29 May 1958).

This scrapbook, entitled "My Two Year Term on the Teen Town Council", was created by Howard Foot to document his involvement in the Prince George Teen Town Council. Howard Foot was the elected "mayor" of the Prince George Teen Town Council for the 1958-1959 term. The British Columbia centennial year was 1958; Teen Town was involved in centennial event planning. The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings from the Prince George Citizen relating to Prince George Teen Town events and the Teen Town Council. These clippings include mention of other Teen Town Council members, including Brian Fawcett who later became a nationally-recognized Canadian writer.

Original photographic prints and reproduced photographs relating to Prince George Teen Town are pasted in and interleaved into the scrapbook. Also interleaved into the scrapbook is a 26 February 1959 issue of the Prince George Echo newspaper. The newspaper issue has a feature article about a Prince George custom car show organized by Howard Foot.
