Collection consists of 17 oral histories, and transcripts generated for the Living Landscapes Red Rock Community History Project and copies of photographs. The Aleza Lake Research Forest Society (ALRFS) records encompass material that was created or collected by the Society over its existence (2001-present). Records created by the ALRFS consist of administrative and operational records, as well as publications from the Society. Collected records include historical records relating to the Aleza Lake Experiment Forest gifted to the Society or its members. These include maps, photographs, reference material, and documents. Members and associates of the ALRFS also documented the history of the forest through the creation of oral history recordings and written histories such as John Revel's "Devil's Club, Black Flies, and Snowshoes".

The fonds includes a significant amount of reproduced archival material about Aleza Lake from other institutions, such as BC Archives, the Canadian Forest Service, and the BC Forest Service. Many of these reproductions were created as part of the 2006 ALRFS Natural Resources History Internship in an effort to compile the history of the research forest.

Also included are cartographic and photographic materials that depict the Aleza Lake Research Forest and surrounding areas.

The George Street Letters Collection consists of the inaugural issue of "George Street Letters."

Includes an audiocassette and a CD copy of an interview conducted by Kent Sedgwick with Trelle Morrow on the history of architectural design in Prince George.

This collection contains two tapes of interviews by Kent Sedgwick and Megan Heitrich, and one tape by Megan Heitrich alone. Interviews focus primarily upon the Japanese Internment during WWII in the Prince George – Valemount corridor. The interviews are with women who lived near an internment camp during the war, and had some contact with the Japanese men.

The interviewees were selected for having mentioned the Japanese internment in prior interviews: Louisa Mueller and Ruth Cunningham in interviews by the Prince George Oral History Group, and Karlleen Robinson in “A History of Logs and Lumber.” In the Cunningham Interview, Ruth’s daughter Lillian Coulling is also present.

Growing collection of strike ephemera from students, CUPE staff, and faculty members at UNBC. Collection includes picketing signs, strike buttons, photographs, art, and videos from pickets and UNBC Faculty Association events during the 2015 and 2019 strikes, as well as posters and other ephemera from the UNBC Occupiers group.

The fonds consists of 14 binders of photocopied material. The original materials include notebooks, diaries and loose pages. The Smith Family photograph album was copied onto cd-rom, as were digital pictures of Smith Family artifacts and some documents. A small number of photographs were photographically copied. Includes photographs of Arthur Gordon Smith, Anne Clarice Smith, and Marcus Smith.

Subject areas identified in this collection include: church and hospital buildings (including nurses quarters); group photos featuring doctors, nurses, and hospital workers; grave markers; landscapes; processing of oolichan fish; and various church-related events such as weddings and church openings.

The Northern BC Archives Historical Photograph Collection consists of images representing a variety of subjects areas including but not limited to Transportation and Utilities; Industries; Geographic Features; Military; First Nations; and Exploration, Discovery and Travel. The geographic focus of this collection stretches from Williams Lake to the Yukon border, and from the Alberta border to Haida Gwaii.

This Collection consists of photographs documenting early development of the Central Interior including such subjects as: homesteading, railway construction, packing & freighting, modes and routes of transportation, schools, mercantile development, leisurely activities, sports, natural resource development and exploitation, political movements, town-site development and policing. This collection also provides a look at history of the Taylor-Baxter Family - a long time pioneering family of this region, including: A.K. & Lillian Bourchier; Hugh & Hermina "Minnie" (nee Wessel) Taylor and family; Herbert & Sarah (nee Wessel) Glassey; and Bob & Violet (nee Taylor) Baxter and family.

Collection consists of 19 photographic reproductions of black and white photographs documenting the Micks Family life on their Vanderhoof ranch. Also included is a transcript of Doris Ferland (nee Micks) describing her family's move from Nebraska to Vanderhoof in 1913

Collection consists of material collected by the Pacific Coast Division of the Canadian Railway Historical Association regarding railways in British Columbia and Yukon Territory. Predominantly consists of material relating to BC Rail, CN Rail, and White Pass & Yukon Railway. Also includes Canadian trackside guides.

Fonds consists of textual, photographic, cartographic, electronic and promotional films/video recordings related to the mining operations of Cassiar Asbestos Mining Corporation (CAMC) and creation of Cassiar townsite. CAMC records primarily consist of records related to mining operations including construction, engineering, daily mining operations, administration of CAMC, tallies of extractions, labour and union activities, corporate events and visits by dignitaries. Townsite records are primarily visual representations of townsite construction, including the creation of health, education and community services including Cassiar's private hospital, school, library, as well as townsite images. Photographs include documentation of natural and man-made landscapes within the Cassiar region of Northern BC. Other holdings include a near complete run of Cassiar's community newspaper.

The collection consists of textual records, publications, photographs, a videocassette, and ephemera that record the establishment and development of the University of Northern British Columbia.

The Jack Corless Collection consists of two autobiographical publications by Jack Corless, formerly of Prince George. Entitled “Lucky Jackie: Diapers to Rifles” and “Lucky Jackie: Zombie to Decorated” the first describes Mr. Corless’s childhood years in Prince George c.1920s-30s, the second describes Mr. Corless’ years overseas in the Royal Canadian Army during WWII.

Collection consists of textual and photographic items related to Prince George hockey and sports history.

Fonds consists of 1 copy of a typed transcript featuring Winnifred Emily Warner Russell (nee Large) being interviewed by her daughter Bev Christensen. Content of transcript includes the topics of nursing training in Vernon (1923-26) and nursing in Grace Hospital in Vancouver, and General Hospitals in Prince George, Prince Rupert, and Smithers up until 1957. No audio recording gifted.

Collection consists of 73 photographs featuring the construction of the John Hart Highway in Prince George, BC from 1945-1946. Images depict construction, machinery, workers, bunkhouses, persons, wildlife, and buildings all associated with this construction project around the Summit Lake region of the city.

Collection consists of 5 yellow cedar carvings by Billy Edmund. The three unpainted carvings are entitled "Raven," "Flying Hawk," and "Raven, Bear, Salmon and Beaver Totem." The final two carvings, both entitled "Salmon," are painted in red, black and teal.
