The groundwork for this telegraph line was laid by the Collins Overland Telegraph and the Western Union Telegraph (Russian-American Telegraph). File also includes photographs depicting a cabin at Bobtail Lake along the telegraph trail (1977).

Includes: "RE: Ice Jams in Nechako River at Prince George" typescript letter from Peter Campbell to Graham Farstad (30 May 1984) and "Floods" typed document by Kent Sedgwick (1 Feb. 1996). Also includes photographs depicting low water and flooding in Prince George (1937 and 2006).

File consists of notes and reproductions relating to the Upper Fraser Historical Geography Project done on the East Line and Upper Fraser in collaboration with the University of Northern British Columbia researchers. Includes a CD titled "Kent's Upper Fraser Files" containing Kent's research files for the Upper Fraser project (7 Jan. 2004) and a computer diskette titled "Oral Histories" containing an oral history interview with a woman (2004).

In July 2009, Dr. Paul Sanborn undertook the first soils field research at the Fort Selkirk volcanic field in central Yukon, with helicopter support and funding from the Yukon Geological Survey. This file includes digital photographs of the 2009 field work at the Ft. Selkirk site. Some of the digital photographs have been annotated as PDFs.
