Subseries consists of lecture notes and related material filed by lecture as well as exam questions and other course material for the course “Canadian Public Administration” taught by Weller at Lakehead University during the years 1974-1982. Two files appear to have been reused in the 1990s.

Subseries consists of lecture notes and related material filed by lecture, reading lists and exam questions for the Lakehead University courses “Ontario Politics” and “Canadian Provincial Politics” taught by Weller along with notes outlining a textbook on Ontario politics and information on a student internship program at the Ontario legislature. A lecture file titled “Ontario Ombudsman, No. 26 Ontario Politics” was empty. Weller taught these courses during the years 1974-1982, and one file appears to have been used again at a later date.

Subseries primarily consists of lecture notes and other material from the course “Modern Political Theory” taught by Weller at Lakehead University from 1975-1977. The material also includes published lecture notes from a similar course taught at another institution and other items which appear to be Weller’s background research for the course.

Seven lecture files were empty, and the empty files were titled: “Agencies, Boards and Commissions, No. 23,” “Patriation and Constitutional Reform, No. 29,” “Northern Discontent, No. 34,” “Political Corruption in Canada, No. 38,” “Politics and the Police, No. 39,” “Health Policy, No. 47,” and “Education Policy, No. 48.”

Fonds consists of 1 copy of a typed transcript featuring Winnifred Emily Warner Russell (nee Large) being interviewed by her daughter Bev Christensen. Content of transcript includes the topics of nursing training in Vernon (1923-26) and nursing in Grace Hospital in Vancouver, and General Hospitals in Prince George, Prince Rupert, and Smithers up until 1957. No audio recording gifted.

Subseries primarily consists of articles by other authors, some with related correspondence between Weller and the author. A large amount of the material is related to health policy specifically in Canada; however, the records also range to health policy in the United States and other countries. The subseries also includes the text of speeches by government officials, publications created by government bodies, newspaper clippings, and other material collected over the course of Weller’s research on health policy. The series contains drafts by Weller with titles which correspond to early papers and chapters of his dissertation: "The Public Interest in Professional Politics: The Case of the Canadian Medical Association,” "Chapter 4: Health Care and Medicare Policy in Ontario," "Health Policy in Ontario," and "The Executive, the Legislature and the Health Policy Process: The Case of Ontario." The first 243 files are primarily scholarly works and government documents individually filed by Weller and generally arranged alphabetically by author. The other 72 files contain notes, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and other material in files created by Weller in broader files by topic. The bulk of the material was gather around the dates 1975 to 1980, though some files contain items from dates in the mid-1980s and four files with dates into the 1990s suggesting the material was also involved in later research (see subseries 10).

Weller taught “History of Political Ideas” during the 1968-1969 academic year at Bishop’s University. One file appears to have been used at a later date (1998).

Subseries consists of lecture notes, photocopied readings, course outlines and other material for the UNBC course taught by Weller “Social and Health Policy and Administration.” The files also contain material that appears to predate the course.

Subseries consists of material related to Weller’s collaborations with universities around the globe during his appointments at Lakehead University and UNBC. It primarily comprises items related to forming relationship between the universities, such as exchange programs, and also includes some material involved in Weller’s research on higher education.

File includes six aggregations of photographs which have been assembled in this file in order to maintain the integrity of each group by keeping the photos arranged together, though each group features operations pertaining to multiple files in this subseries. Includes groups featuring photos from 1961, 1965 1971, a helicopter trip, a community album, and a workplace album. Photographs depict images pertaining to the following operations at Cassiar, B.C.: mining, milling, maintenance, labratory tests, and tramline and town operations. Images featuring operations of the company town include the grocery store, bank, churches, school, library, lounge, pool, theater, community center, outdoor recreation, hospital, dentist, cafeteria, bus route, residences, air strip, firehall, laundromat, park, police, and newspaper.

Cassiar Asbestos Corporation Ltd opened a second mine in 1967 at what became the one-industry town of Clinton Creek, Y.T. File contains photographs depicting different areas of operations at Clinton Creek. Locations include the mine, plant, town, tailings pile, main office, the 40 Mile River, and surrounding area. Town photos depict the grocery store, cafeteria, medical clinic, school, auditorium residential area, Connell Street and power house. File also includes aerial photographs and images depicting forest fighting, photographers capturing the tailings pile, asbestos samples, mining machinery, staff offices, and operations in the mill, lab, and garage.
