Glass slide depicts a reproduction of M. Faust's "Mary Seeks Her Son." Jesus is leaving with a crowd leaving three women, one of which is kneeled down and crying. Annotations include handwritten, "48. Christ taking leave of His mother at Bethany, (Faust)" and printed on stamp is "COPYRIGHT OF FRANZ ANFSTAENGL, NEWTON & CO (MAKERS) 3 FLEET ST LONDON."
