Photograph depicts an 1897 single shot English rifled gun. Mounted on a mine sweeper "HMCS Theipval," founded on an unchartered rock in Burkley Sound, Febraury 27, 1930. It was recovered in the late 1970s.

Photograph taken at Caesar's Landing at a derelict landing, 1 mile south of Nahun on the west side of Okanagan Lake. Visible is a heavy portable 2 cylinder traction engine marked "Model K, 25 Horse engine No. 16320." Appears to have driven a small saw. Height of the saplings suggest that it had not been use for 5 to 15 years.

Photograph depicts the Sea Cadets Corps Amphion of Nanaimo marching in the 1970 Nanaimo May Day Parade near Comox Road. The Corps is doing a "Present Arms" and are in "Close March" formation. This is a salute, likely as they pass the parade review platform. The newly built Tally-Ho Lodge is in the background, suggesting that the Corps is marching south on Terminal Ave. at Comox Road intersection, having just crossed the Millstream Bridge. Terminal Ave. is also the official Trans-Canada Highway (1962-1971), which was still very new at this time.

Photograph taken at Brockton Oval, Stanley Park in Vancouver. Depiction of the Presentation of 2 Colours to the Vancouver City Police Force by Lieutenant-Governor of B.C. At this point, the colours had just been consecrated on an alter of drums. Drummers were regaining their drums.

Photograph depicts a CN plow built in June 1939 and rated "Heavy Duty." At the time, CN had 63 snow plows and this was one of the 12th to 18th youngest. The latest was built in 1959.
