Photograph depicts one of the two steam locomotives that operated on the Victoria Miniature Railway. Labelled "No. 1941," Canadian and was built by Routledge of Mission City. It was overhauled by a citizen of Victoria. Fired by coal.

Photograph depicts shay locomotive #115. It was running order, but not in steam on the day the photograph was taken. A rod locomotive was found in a shed towards the left, while the "Dunrobin" lay in disuse (but was still workable) in a shed on the rear right.

Photograph depicts the Great Northern Railway depot at Keremeos and the terminus of the line from Wenatchee, Washington, U.S.A. The line stops about 1/3 mile beyond this point. At one time it ran on to Hedley mine and possibly Princeton.

Photograph depicts a 0-4-4 "Dunrobin" locomotive built by Sharp, Stewart, & Co. Ltd. in 1895 at Atlas Works, Glasgow and formerly owned by the Duke of Sutherland. It was taken inside the B.C. Electric Railway locomotive shed at New Westminster where it was receiving a check-over for steam running and a paint job. The cover to steam dome has been removed.

Photograph depicts two (out of three) cares lettered Morrissey, Fernie and Michel Railway, from whence they came in 1964. The worked on the Coal Creek line to Fernie until about 1959. They are on display at Heritage Park in Calgary.
