Photograph depicts a freight shed at the Nelson CPR depot. There is a terminal spur on the south side of the shed and road trucks on the north side. The road side of the main depot building can be seen in the left rear of the photo. The view is facing east.

Photograph depicts a general store owned by Acton Kilby that was still operated by him at age 81. His family had moved from New Westminster in 1902 to run the store. The CPR depot originally connected direcly to the second floor of the building. Harrison Mills lay at the junction of the Harrison and Fraser Rivers and was an important site during steamboat days. Now it was a backwater of 3 dwellings beside the railway.

Photograph depicts the a grain elevator at Wynndel, located at mile 73.8 on the CPR line on the Nelson Subdivision. It is between Creston at mile 67.2 and Kootenay Landing at mile 83.1. Grain elevators are rare in BC and this one belongs to the United Grain Growers. The view is looking east.

Photograph depicts the Grand Central Hotel at the intersection of Marpole Ave and Hudson St. in south Vancouver. The hotel was built in 1912 by J.J. Graver and run from 1913-1915. It re-opened in 1920 as a home for incurables (veterans). In 1937 it became the provincial infirmary and closed in May 1965.

Photograph depicts the Grand Forks CPR depot, located at mile 94.8 on the Boundary Subdivision, which runs from Nelson to Midway (127 miles). It was originally built by the Columbia & Western Railway in 1899. IT has not seen a passenger train in years but it is still in use for administrative purposes.

Photograph depicts the Great Northern Railway depot at Keremeos and the terminus of the line from Wenatchee, Washington, U.S.A. The line stops about 1/3 mile beyond this point. At one time it ran on to Hedley mine and possibly Princeton.

Photograph depicts the Great Northern Railway former station at Cascade, just north of the Canada-U.S. border and 15 miles east of Grand Forks. The line connects Kettle Falls and Grand Forks, but the station is now disused but in good repair. The view is looking south towards Washington State.

Photograph depicts the Hospital Cottage on Main St. in Sechelt, B.C. which also appears to have been home to the Magistrates and Small Debts Court at one point. A large central hospital for the whole of the Sechelt Peninsula was opened in 1965 at Sechelt.
