The case (Attorney General of Canada vs. Attorney General of British Columbia vs. Alcan Aluminum) was in regard to the increased need for water rights to the Nechako River as a result of Alcan's Kemano Completion Project.

File predominately consists of correspondence relating to the Canada v. Alcan case. Includes an affidavit for the case, correspondence to and from legal counsel, a photocopy of Envirocon's "Review of the 1984 Nechako River Hydrothermal Monitoring and Control Program" sent from Alcan, and internal DFO memoranda.
