Digital video recording is an episode of Spotlight on UNBC from May 1998. Features segments on an end-of-the-year sports report for basketball and rugby, northern research taking place in communities, a survey showing a high level of involvement with post-secondary education in the north, and the UNBC pipe and drum band. Includes interviews with Charles Jago (UNBC president), Tom Steadman, Greg Halseth (UNBC Geography), Robin Fisher (Dean of Arts and Health Sciences ), Jeremy Cundy (UNBC Pipe and Drum Band), Mike Speakerman (Rugby), Loralyn Murdoch (UNBC Northern Timberwolves Women's Basketball).
