File consists of incoming correspondence from the general public and politicians regarding matters related to northern development and outgoing correspondence from Iona Campagnolo. Includes correspondence regarding construction and development projects in the Skeena riding; the maritime Land Registration and Information Service; the extension of the Regional Development Incentives Act; and correspondence to and from the Minister of Regional Economic Expansion Marcel Lessard. Also includes news releases on approved RDIA grants; "Background Notes on Federal Assistance for Development in Northern British Columbia" prepared by Minister Campagnolo's office in December 1978; a copy of a letter from the Prime Minister Trudeau to the provincial premiers regarding federal efforts to modernize Canada's industrial structure; a list of Department of Regional Economic Expansion activities between July 1974 and December 1978 in parts of British Columbia; and a brochure for the B.C. Museum of Mining in Britannia Beach, BC.
