This book gives a complete pictorial record of the 1978 IX Commonwealth Games in Edmonton. On the first page there is an acknowledgment from Minister Iona Campagnolo in support of the games.
This book was prepared and published after the Quadrennial Membership meeting of the Canadian Olympic Assoication (COA) that was held from February 26 - 27, 1977. It contains reports from various individuals that were members of the COA and pictorial records of Team Canada at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Sapporo, Japan; 1972 Winter Olympics in Munich, Germany; 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada; and 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria.
