Consists of records and reports created or collected by Horst Sander, former President of the Cerebral Palsy Association of Prince George & District. Includes annual reports for the Cerebral Palsy Association of Prince George & District, building proposals for a new Prince George Child Development Centre (CDC), CDC reports, Horst Sander's speech notes, and a history of the CDC.

The Phipps-Mackenzie Collection consists of four series. The textual series contains surveying journals and reports mostly related to the Bedaux Expedition and other surveys which took place in northern BC, correspondences and reports from the time when Phipps was working at South Africa with the Bedaux Company, as well as personal documents which belong to A. H. Phipps and his wife, Dorothy E. Phipps (nee Sommers). The photographic series holds three photo albums most of which are related to surveying northern BC in 1929, 1930 and 1935, and some loose photos which mostly reflect Phipps' involvement in the Bedaux Expedition in 1934. The cartographic series includes a map of the traveled route of the surveyors of the Bedaux Expedition. The ephemera series holds two wallets and an award pin.

Collection consists of collected material with minimal provenance related to the Charles Bedaux Expedition of 1934.

The Upper Fraser Historical Geography Project was conducted by UNBC faculty and a team of researchers between 1999 and 2002. The lead researchers were Aileen Espritiu, Gail Fondahl, Greg Halseth, Debra Straussfogel, and Tracy Summerville. The project resulted in the creation of 93 oral history records and their transcripts. Participants included regional forest industry executives, politicians (including former MLA Ray Williston, local mayors and Fraser Fort George Regional District representatives), forest industry workers, and former and contemporary Upper Fraser community residents. The oral histories document the rise, consolidation and demise of the forestry-based settlements along the Upper Fraser River between 1915 and 2000.

Consists of records and collected material relating to Northern BC communities and their forestry and mining resource-based economies. The majority of the holdings are collected materials relating to specific industrial corporations active in Northern BC (e.g. Alcan), such as annual reports and company profiles. The remainder of the records cover resource economy research in Northern BC more generally, such as collected data and analyses.

Consists of records created and collected by Joan Chess as co-chair of the Prince George Land and Resource Management Plan committee. Consists of meeting minutes, background research materials, correspondence, reports, and LRMP plans from other Northern BC regions such as Fort St. John.

Consists of records created by Abitibi Consolidated - Mackenzie Papermill CEP Local 402 Union (Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada). Includes meeting minutes, negotiation materials, union agreements, welfare issues, and collective bargaining material.

Photograph album includes prints depicting the signing of the Master Tuition Agreement between Catholic Public Schools, the Minister of Indian Affairs, and the Indigenous communities of Lake Babine, Stuart Trembleur, Fraser Lake, and Necoslie. Also includes photographs of First Nation schools, students, class projects, school activities, and a graduation ceremony from Prince George College. The album is believed to be compiled by the Prince George office of the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development.

Collection includes approximately 940 slides taken during the construction of the Tumbler Ridge Electric Railway during the early 1980s. Locations include the Anzac siding, the BC Rail Stuart subdivision, the Chetwynd subdivision, the Parsnip River area, Quintette, the Table River area, railway pipeline crossings, and the Wolverine River area, among others.

Contains photographs generally depicting landscapes, water scenes, and views of towns on British Columbia's north coast. Includes images featuring sternwheelers and other boats, canneries, fisheries, and individuals. Locations depicted include Port Essington and Port Simpson (Lax Kw’alaams) in BC, Fort Wrangell in Alaska, and other unknown towns. Includes one photograph of a man named Max Lohbrunner, and many other images depicting unidentified individuals.

Collection consists of 760+ images in 3 photo albums depicting Gray's travels throughout Northern BC and Alberta and 6 computer discs consisting of digital copies of these photographs.

Richard (Dick) Corless came to Prince George in 1913 from England, where upon he became an undertaker and a car dealer. He operated his funeral home business at the corner of Quebec and Fourth Avenue in Prince George. All of the funerals that he performed were recorded in a ledger, including deaths by the influenza pandemic of 1918. Mr Corless transferred his business to Assman’s Funeral home in 1931 and his ledger remained with a family member who subsequently donated it to the BC Archives.

The Prince George Genealogical Society became aware of the ledgers’ existence, and a member viewed it in the BC Archives in Victoria. Because of its fragile condition it was not suitable for photocopying; however, the BC Archives considered that it might be eligible at some point for micro-filming.

In July 2007 the Corless Ledger, was transferred from BC Archives to the Northern BC Archives and Special Collections at UNBC. Subsequently, this ledger was digitized and these images were lent to the Prince George Genealogical Society for transcription.

This funeral ledger consists of significant information on deaths in Prince George, BC, from the years 1916 to 1931. The ledger contains personal information regarding individuals who have died, including their name, cause of death, age, residence, ethnicity and the date of their death.

The fonds consists of audio reels and dubbed audio cassettes of a radio programs hosted by Jack Carbutt at CKPG Radio in Prince George, and includes transcriptions in electronic and textual format. This collection has been divided into the following three series: "Audio Recordings" (2000.21.1); "Transcriptions" (2000.21.2); and "Miscellaneous Materials" (2000.21.3).

The material in this collection relates to Prince George music festivals, symphony performances and theatre events.

The fonds consists of newspaper articles on John Ferry and several documents related to Carney Ferry's work as a CNR agent. The bulk of the fonds documents William Dow Ferry's accomplishments, from his sixth grade report card to law school transcripts, university diplomas and certificates of appointment. Most photos are formal shots of William Ferry but one series relates to his military service, including photographs of soldiers in Whitehorse ca. 1940.

Collection consists of a travel scrapbook created by Jill Singleton documenting a trip to Alaska, Yukon, Haida Gwaii, and northern BC. Includes photographs, ephemera, handwritten notes, pamphlets, issues of local newspapers, and maps.

Fonds contains 12.5 cm of textual records consisting of drafts of papers, off-prints of articles authored and co-authored by Fish, and files pertaining to his consultancy work in the Maldives and Sri Lanka. Also contains digital records and on diskettes (which have been migrated to CD), which include correspondence, memoranda, drafts, and other working files.

The fonds consists of six company ledgers: 1894 - 1896, 1896, 1898 - 1901, 1900, 1904 - 1905, 1923 - 1926. Also includes 15 pages of correspondence and notes. The ledgers note expenses for various operations in the mine and in the company owned premises in town. The letters and notes concern the purchase of explosives for the mine and discusses the Consolidated Cariboo Hydraulic Mining Company.

Fonds consists of textual records, photographic items and published reports related to professional life and career of Bob Harkins, broadcaster, local historian, and former city councilor. Includes textual and photographic items related to development and history of city of Prince George and the Central Interior of BC region history and development in late 20th century. Items includes an unpublished manuscript on the life of Ray Williston by Eileen Williston, an unpublished paper on the history of technological change in logging industry; an unpublished paper on the history of radio and television in Prince George; a report related to the creation of a university for Northern British Columbia (1989) and proofs of the publication "Wild Liard Waters: Canoeing Canada's Historic Liard River" by Ferdi Wenger, c.1998. Also includes photographic files including CKPG Radio Studio photographic items c.1953; and photographs and correspondence regarding guide outfitter Skook Davidson c.1975.

Collection consists of over 120 images, copy prints, originals, digitized images, postcards and reproductions of textual materials relating to the pioneers, wildlife, and trapping of the Prince George region.

Fonds consists of the personal records of Nedra (Ginty) Jane Paul [b. ca.1920-d. 1990]. Personal records include the 1938 Lord Byng High School Annual, 2 teaching certificates, and 1 photograph. Paul worked as a teacher in the Chilcotin and Bella Coola regions of BC and the primary items of the collection are 8 recordings generated by her with members of First Nations Communities at Alkali, Red Stone, Kleena Kleene and Bella Coola from 1964-1971. There are 8 original audio reel to reel recordings (and 2 tapes which are copies of the recordings later created by P.J. Thomas, who accompanied Paul on the interviews). Recordings include stories and songs.

Fonds consists of 2 boxes textual materials and newsclippings related to Willis family history and Vanderhoof history, as well as aerial photographs of northern BC and Alberta.

Fonds predominately reflects Ainley's research as a professor at the University of Northern British Columbia. Her research is arranged into thirteen subseries. A series of personal records includes: retirement activities, her hobbies of art and writing, diplomas, and photographs. The series on her administrative and supervisory activities of professorship of women’s studies and environmental studies is arranged according to the major activities with which Ainley was involved and includes: meeting minutes, memoranda, reports, correspondence, employment, and other records. A series of electronic records relating, predominately, to Ainley’s research includes: draft manuscripts, conference proceedings, bibliographies, transcripts, correspondence, curricula vitae and other records. A series of professional development records includes records from conferences she attended and occasionally presented at as well as other professional development activities that she undertook. A series of correspondence predominantly consists of personal correspondence but also includes professional correspondence related to her research and occupation.

Fonds consists of 5 boxes of materials related to the BC Provincial Police, including bound volumes of "Shoulder Strap," "Off Patrol" newsletters, General Orders 1923-1950, Constable Correspondence 1904-1909, and Criminal Investigation Branch Vol. 1-14.

The Alexander Manson Mining Collection consists of 133 loose photographs documenting various aspects of the mining industry in Northern British Columbia between 1930-1940. Photographs show images of Manson Creek and Germansen Landing.

Collection consists of a set of 4 Carrier language audio recordings from a UNBC class, a set of 4 audio recordings from the Carrier Language Translation Project, a Carrier dictionary, and Carrier language publications.

This collection consists of 1 photo album originally belonging to Sydney E. Junkins which contains 23 photographs and 4 large folding maps which depict Hon. Dr. King and party's trip down the Peace River from 19 to 31 August 1927. Includes a hand-written and typed copy of "Peace River Trip" itinerary for a subsequent trip 8-15 September 1927.

The Vivian Antoniw Collection consists of textual and photographic materials including Antoniw’s graduate thesis research work c.1960 on Northwest Coast totem poles, particularly near Hazelton, Kitimaat area. Materials include textual records, thesis, photographs, slides, artistic sketches by Antoniw and grey literature related to Northwest Coast art.

The Helen Mustard Collection consists of textual records, audiocassettes and copies of publications relating to the history of Mackenzie Townsite and Rocky Mountain Trench region of Northern British Columbia

This collection consists a nearly complete collection of issues of the UNBC student newspaper "Over the Edge" dating from its first newsletter type issue from 1993 onwards. This includes the first volume of the bi-monthly complimentary arts magazine "Edge".

Issues contain articles, photographs, letters, and editorials dealing with university life, politics on campus and university events, entertainment and news. As well, local Prince George events and some national and international events pertaining to student life are also included.
