File consists of an oral history given by Robert Parris, Elizabeth Cariselle, Rose Bortolon, Betty Williams, and Sherry Lewis recalling the walk to Island Cache school. This oral history was gathered in conjunction with Dr. Mike Evan's Island Cache Recovery Project. Does not include a transcript or consent forms.

Series consists of the 46 oral histories conducted by the Island Cache Recovery Project. A file exists for each participant in the research project, which includes the original recorded oral history on cassette tape and/or VHS, consent forms for use of the oral history, a written transcript for the oral history, and a digital version of the written transcript. Collection consists of material resulting from Dr. Mike Evan's Island Cache Recovery Project Collection. Includes oral history interviews of former Island Cache (Cottonwood Island) residents on recording media (cassette and VHS) as well as transcripts of the oral histories. Also includes administrative records for the project and photocopies of background research material used for the project, such as Prince George city records, newspaper clippings, photographs, and correspondence.

Includes photographs depicting Fernie Ollinger's barn on Chilako Station Road and Chilako River (2006).

Collection consists of the original typescript for the "Bacon, Beans 'n Brave Hearts" book publication written by Russell R. Walker. "Bacon, Beans 'n Brave Hearts" is a history of the early years of settlement in Fort George and Prince George. The book was published in 1972 by Lillooet Publishers Ltd. (Lillooet, B.C.) and printed by the Alaska Highway News (Fort St. John, B.C.). The manuscript is accompanied by original photographs, most of which were taken by the author, Russell Walker.

This scrapbook, entitled "My Two Year Term on the Teen Town Council", was created by Howard Foot to document his involvement in the Prince George Teen Town Council. Howard Foot was the elected "mayor" of the Prince George Teen Town Council for the 1958-1959 term. The British Columbia centennial year was 1958; Teen Town was involved in centennial event planning. The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings from the Prince George Citizen relating to Prince George Teen Town events and the Teen Town Council. These clippings include mention of other Teen Town Council members, including Brian Fawcett who later became a nationally-recognized Canadian writer.

Original photographic prints and reproduced photographs relating to Prince George Teen Town are pasted in and interleaved into the scrapbook. Also interleaved into the scrapbook is a 26 February 1959 issue of the Prince George Echo newspaper. The newspaper issue has a feature article about a Prince George custom car show organized by Howard Foot.

Item is an original heritage brochure produced by South Fort George Community Association and South Fort George Elementary School entitled "South Fort George: A trip to the past". The brochure includes features on South Fort George schools, pioneer travel, sites and scenes in South Fort George, people and places, and life in early South Fort George. Also includes a South Fort George timeline, reproduced historical images, and a map of South Fort George that includes historical highlights.

Item is an original typescript prepared by Mrs. Frances Gibbins of Prince George entitled "The Cultural Life of Prince George". The report was prepared as a presentation to Dr. John B. Macdonald, President of the University of British Columbia, on behalf of the Board of School Trustees of School District No. 57 (Prince George). Includes details about music, drama, painting, and arts facilities in Prince George in the 1960s.
