The Roy & Marge McDougall Collection consists primarily of textual, photographic and cartographic materials and ephemera related to their life in the Rocky Mountain Trench region of Northern BC where they operated a trading post at Findlay Forks, c.1930s-c.1960s. Also includes a diary of T. Balty, believed to have been the subsequent owner of the trading post. Materials include diaries, correspondence, documents & writings, 23 diaries, and 9 ledgers & address books dated from c. 1915 to 1961. Also includes 15 maps of Northern BC and 1 map of Oiseau River Area, southeast Manitoba. Photographic images depict people, landscapes, fur trade, buildings, commerce, shipping, and transport. Roy McDougall was a coroner; five of the photographs depict deceased persons.

Columbia circa 1991-1994.
Consists of excerpted photograph album pages that depict the following locations in British Columbia: Otter Flat (Tulameen), Hedley, 20 Mile Creek, Princeton, Grouse Mountain, New Westminster, and Ruskin.
The photographs depict the geographic areas of Stewart, BC, Boundary Pass, Nelson River, Bitter Creek Glacier, Portland Canal, Red Cliff and Bear Creek; as well as the ships “Camosun” and “S.S. Prince George.” Types of subjects identified in this collection include: community life, surveying, mining and transportation (i.e. dog-sledding, horse and buggy, and the Portland Canal Short Line Railway “P.C.S.L. Rlwy”).
Collection consists of photographs of restoration work on Hagwilget Bridge near Hazelton performed by Buckland & Taylor Ltd., a structural engineering company. The photographs depict inspection work on the bridge, main cables, and other structural elements, as well as general photographs of the bridge from various angles including detailed imagery of the structural components of the bridge. The photographs also show rehabilitation work underway on the bridge and employees at work.

Sans titreFonds covers a wide array of Dr. Antonia Mills’ research and writing, from her Ph.D. thesis work to her continued research into the early 2000s. Collection consists of textual and photographic materials pertaining to Dr. Mills’ Ph.D. research of First Nations groups in Canada, particularly the Beaver Indians. The majority of the textual documents surround Dr. Mills’ role in the plaintiff claim for Delgamuukw vs. British Columbia (The Queen) and provides insight into the historic case. Feast notes, genealogy charts, memorandum, and report drafts of expert witness reports are included in her Delgamuukw work. Photographic material is related to Dr. Mills’ research of the Beaver Indians, her reincarnation research, and her research in India. There are also chapters of her publications, chapters of work she edited and material related to the classes she taught at UNBC on a number of digital formats. There are 15 cassette tapes of interviews and lectures related to her research interests and graduate level First Nations Studies classes. There are interviews with Mary John Sr., Art Wilson, and a number of interviews with children for her Imaginary Playmate Study. Finally, there are six VHS tapes with miscellaneous content: recordings of guest lecturers in her classes, recordings of PSA’s, a documentary on the building of Delgamuukw and a TV movie based on Thomas King’s book Medicine River.

Scope & Content: This series consists of materials either created by, or researched and collected, by Antonia Mills as part of her preparatory work as an expert witness in the Delgamuukw vs. British Columbia [1997] 3 S.C.R. 1010 case. In 1985 Mills was asked by the Gitksan and Wet’suwet’en Tribal Councils to support them as an expert witness in their land claims suit against the Canadian Government. Types of materials comprising this series include various reports, publications, legal research, correspondence, meeting notes, and maps pertaining to the research done into Gitksan-Wet’suwet’en land title.
2) Beaver / Dunne-za First Nation Research Series

Scope & Content: This series consists of textual and photographic materials produced or collected by Antonia Mills while conducting her Ph.D research in the Dunne-za/Beaver First Nation. Also present are some oral histories, creation stories and general notes collected or created by A. Mills.
3) Reincarnation & Imaginary Playmate Research Series

Consists of records relating to the history of the Community Arts Council of Prince George. Includes photograph albums, meeting minutes, and operational records.
Consists of primarily photographic forestry-related records from John Muraro's career with the Canadian Forest Service and BC Ministry of Forests.
Collection consists of photographs and plans relating to the construction of bridges, trestles, and stations of the Canadian Northern Pacific Railway, ca. 1913, collected or created by George W.H. Jackson, a surveyor who worked for the CNPR. The railway, incorporated in 1910, existed in name only as a subsidiary of the Canadian Northern Railway, and began construction around 1913. The materials include:
- 148 photographs showing surveying, worksites, and views along the route. Many of the images are captioned and/or dated, presumably by Jackson.
- 94 blueprint plans detailing work on bridges, trestles, station hours, etc. with elevations, details of construction, and materials; one larger blueprint shows the rail route over Kicking Horse Pass.
Growing collection of strike ephemera from students, CUPE staff, and faculty members at UNBC. Collection includes picketing signs, strike buttons, photographs, art, and videos from pickets and UNBC Faculty Association events during the 2015 and 2019 strikes, as well as posters and other ephemera from the UNBC Occupiers group.
