Digital video recording is an episode of Spotlight on UNBC from June 1995. The main highlight of the episode was UNBC's 3rd convocation in May 1995 with speeches from Iona Campagnolo (UNBC Chancellor), Lesley McVey (graduating student), and Geoffrey Weller (UNBC President), as well as the presentation of honorary degrees to Bertram McKay, Bridget Moran, and Margaret Ormsby. Features also consisted of the announcement that Charles Jago will be the new president of UNBC; UNBC received 4000 registration applications for the 1995/1996 school year; construction of the new student residence; planned construction of a daycare centre; funding for financial aid, scholarships, and bursaries; UNBC Media Relations wins several awards; and "the top 5 reasons people watch Spotlight on UNBC". Includes interviews with Iona Campagnolo (UNBC Chancellor); Geoffrey Weller (UNBC President); David Dowling (UNBC English Chair); Stan Beller (UNBC English); Charles Jago (UNBC President); John Young (UNBC Political Science); Ivan Duke (North to the Future Campaign); Trudy Bryant (UNBC Development); and Russell Bock (Prince George high school student).
