File contains photographs depicting four different tours that took place at the mine, plant, and towns owned by Cassiar Asbestos Corporation Ltd. Tours include Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau's visit to Clinton Creek in 1968 and Member of Parliament Iona Campagnolo's visit to Cassiar in 1978. Photographs also depict a party of ambassadors touring Cassiar in 1970, and the dedication of a building in the Cassiar plant in the late 1970s.

File contains photographs featuring members of the Board of Directors of Cassiar Asbestos Corporation Ltd., which was formed on the 17th of May, 1951. Cassiar's forerunner was a company named Conwest, formed in 1534, a consolidation of two companies owned by Fred Martin Connell and his brother W. Harold Connell. The first board of directors included the Connell brothers, George Armstrong, John E. Kennedy, Charles & Arthur Mortimer, and Charles Rainforth Elliot (chartered accountant and secretary-treasurer of Conwest & Cassiar). Directors depicted in this file include F.M Connell, Harold Connell, Charles Elliot, John E. Kennedy, George Armstrong, Ken A. Creery, John Drybrough, Tam Zimmermann, George Washington Smith (president of Bell Asbestos Mines), Nick Gritzuk, Jack Christian (general manager, president, and CEO). Other individuals depicted include Fred Murry, Andre Beguin, Plato Malozemoff from Newmont Mining (co-founder of Cassiar with F.M. Connell), Alfred Lloyd Penhale (founder and CEO of Asbestos Corporation of Canada Ltd.), C.B. Brown, Pierre Marcotte, Francis Parker Smith (brother of George Smith), Bill Oughtred, Bill Johnson, and a Mr. Janitsch. File also includes a portrait of an unidentified director of Cassiar from Turner and Newall in England, taken at the corporate club in Toronto. Group portraits were taken at the Cassiar Valley, the office building, "House 130," fishing outings, and at formal events in unidentified locations.

Item consists of interview with George Gibbons who discusses his working career with Prince George City Hall and as Alderman and Prince George's history c.1950s-c.1960s.

Item consists of transcript of recorded interview with Nellie Oliver Runnalls who discusses her early family life in Victoria and Delta, BC and memories of her father's political career; her father was former BC premier John Oliver. Runnalls also discusses her life in Prince George, as wife of Reverend F.E. Runnals

Also includes material relating to his son, Frank Perry, and his failed political campaign. Includes World War II and Post-War printed materials.

Photographs in this series document Perry's political career, his business enterprises and his familial connection with relatives in England. Other featured subjects include various transportation modes (ca. 1913) used in the BC Interior, as well as railroad and bridge construction in the same era.

Series documents H.G.T. Perry's political activities primarily in British Columbia. They include his tenure as Mayor of Prince George (1917-1918; and 1920); as Member of the Legislative Assembly for Fort George (1920-1928 & 1933-1945); as Speaker (1933-1937)and Deputy Speaker (1924 to 1928) of the Legislative Assembly; as Minister of Education (1941- 45); and as Chairman of the Post-War Rehabilitation Council (1942-194?). This series is comprised of significant materials covering a wide range of topics related to Northern British Columbia (such as Northern BC political and economic developments); World War II and Post-War Rehabilitation and politics in British Columbia.

Series consists of correspondence, contracts, manuscripts and a memorandum pertaining to the Honourable Iona Campagnolo's involvement and contribution to a group publication tentatively titled All of Us: Women in Canadian Power and Politics that was scheduled for publication by Random House Canada Ltd. This project was ultimately disbanded and the resulting manuscript was never published.

Most records and correspondence relate to the Liberal Party and include mention of Liberal Party activities and meetings, the official language policy, election strategies, fundraising and donations to the Liberal Party, Campagnolo’s 1979 re-election campaign, political debates, youth caucus events, Liberal appointments, Liberal associations in northern BC, and Liberal conventions.
