Includes correspondence, strategic planning documents, reports, promotional material, meeting documents, and more. Also includes records relating to Noranda Minerals, which was created from a reorganization of some Noranda Mines companies.

Records relate to the mines owned and operated by Noranda Mines, such as Pamour Porcupine, Tara Mine, Brenda Mines, Horne Mine, Gaspe Copper, Mattagami Mines, and Hemlo, among many others. Includes records about some of these individual mines and copper/zinc operations, as well as records from a managerial level regarding the various mines.

Sub-subseries consists of legal records created or accumulated by Adam Zimmerman in his various roles with Noranda Mines (Comptroller, 1961-1966; Vice President and Comptroller, 1966-1974). Records relate specifically to the Gaspe Copper Mines Lawsuit and its appeal. Zimmerman was heavily involved in the financial aspects of the legal case resulting from the 1957 Gaspe Copper Mines strike (Murdochville Strike).
