This photograph album consists of photographs, membership cards and correspondence of Herbert F. Glassey. Subjects identified in this album include: automobiles, landscape vistas, hunting scenes, snowshoeing, dog sledding, provincial government offices and waterscapes. Identified geographic locations include: Nesutlane Trading Post, Atlin, Teslin Lake, Atlin Lake, McKee Creek, Taku Glacier and Otter Creek. Glassey, SarahBook was published by The Allen Photo Co., of Prince Rupert, B.C. and features printed photographs and captions documenting various aspects of Prince Rupert development from 1908 to 1910.
This program is a newspaper clipping scrapbook featuring articles on the passing of, and services for, Mr. H.F. Glassey and Mrs. Sarah Glassey. Also included in an attached envelope at the back of this program:
- A certificate of appointment issued and signed by the Lieutenant-Governor of B.C., Frank Stillman Barnard appointing H.F. Glassey to the position of Notary Public for B.C. in the county of Atlin. Signed and sealed by John Duncan MacLeary, Provincial Secretary, July 25, 1917. (item removed and rehoused with oversize materials)
- Handwritten letter of condolence to Mrs. Glassey on the passing of Mr. Glassey from Mr. Ted Applewaite (Stipendiary Magistrate and former M.P. for the Skeena Riding)
- Letter of condolence to Mrs. Glassey on the passing of Mr. Glassey from Mr. P.J. Lester, mayor of Prince Rupert, October 19, 1962.
- A formal luncheon invitation (presumably to Mrs. Glassey) issued by the Commissioners of the Board of Parks and Public Recreation of the City of Vancouver. Luncheon to be followed by the unveiling of the Lord Stanley Statue buy the Governor General of Canada, His Excellency Major General Georges Vanier, in commemoration of the opening and dedication of Stanley Park, dated May 19, 1960.

This commemorative souvenir was produced by the Prince Rupert Pioneers’ Association in 1914. Its content provides a textual overview of the individual persons who pioneered the establishment of Prince Rupert, as well as, their associated portrait photographs. This publication also provides a brief introduction to the history of Prince Rupert and includes some related historical photographs.
This booklet, published by the Cunard Steam Ship Company, Ltd., provides an overview of Canada, England's emigration agents in Canada, and of the amenities provided by the Cunard Lines to its passengers immigrating to Canada from England via steamship. Booklet was printed in England.
Banquet was held for Visiting Officers and Delegates to the B.P.O.E. Provincial Convention in Prince George, B.C. May 25-27, 1938. The banquet was held in the Elks’ Hall on Thursday May 26, 1938. Menu features food courses, toast list and dance programme.
This Prize List, which was published by the Prince George Agricultural and Industrial Association incorporated with Prince George Horticultural Society, outlines the August 1943 Fall Fair rules and regulations, the prizes to be awarded; as well as a list of prize donors.
This fold out brochure, published by the Prince George Board of Trade, provides an overview of the industries present in Prince George by the BC Centennial; as well as a brief presentation of local recreational opportunities and a mileage listing.
Julian Fry reminisces on his early life and acquaintances in Prince George during his work along the Blackwater Road in the early 1920's. Some notable references include: Blackwater Road, C.F.S.
