Photograph taken on the outskirts of Merritt, looking northwest. Captured from a lumber stack and the boundary of Weyerhaeuser Lumber Co. KVR had trackage into their mill with worthwhile out-bound traffic.
Photograph depicts a bridge over Brookmere public road in Kingsvale. Davies noted that there must have been a problem around the bend as the "Whistle" sign and the imposed speed restriction of 30 mph suggested.
Photograph taken east of the KVR depot in Merritt. Trackage on the left was a Nicola spur/branch. Track to the right was part of the main line to Princeton. The two connected behind the trees to form a turning a wye.

Trackage in the foreground was constructed in 1984/85 as its original routing interfered with the construction of the new highway built in 1985/86. This rebuilt rail bed had only been in use from 184/5 to May 1989.

Photograph depicts the KVR station in Kingsvale. Had a siding or spur that held 24 cars. Back in 1973, it had a waiting shack and water tower.
Photograph depicts a section man's house, now private property. Most section men's houses were demolished in the last 20 years from when the photograph had been taken, so Davies noted the example was a rarity.
