Series consists of journals, draft manuscripts, correspondence, CMS documents and orders, speeches, sermons all written by or to Archdeacon W. H. Collison. Series also contains correspondence to W.E. Collison and Joyce Collison, genealogical information on the Collison family, newspaper clippings and a school paper written by Archdeacon Collison's grandaughter Katy.

Series contains publications on the following subjects: linguistics, First Nations studies, anthropology, museum studies, the Missionary Society of the Church of England, the Metlakatla Inquiry, material culture and Canadian geography. It is believed that items published prior to 1922 had been collected by the Archdeacon W.H. Collison, while those published post 1922 (the year W.H. Collison passed away) were collected by both his son W.E. Collison and then his grandaughter Joyce Collison.

Series consists of images pertaining the Collison family, North Coastal First Nations communities, means of transportation along North Coastal British Columbia, and various church structures and religious events.

The images consists primarily of 130+ photographs taken by or belonging to Reverend R.W. Large, MD which depict communities on the Northwest Coast between approximately 1898 and 1920 including Bella Bella, Rivers Inlet, and Port Simpson, including native villages in which Reverend Large worked. Images show scenes of native fishing, canneries, mission hospitals, churches, girls schools, portraits of native families, and Northwest Coast totems. Other images include 25+ photographs and postcards from the Large family depicting ships and boats on the North Coast.

Series consists of nine photographs of Prince Rupert scenery, buildings, residents and surrounding area. Includes image of totem and dugout canoe.

Series documents academic research undertaken by Dr. Marika Ainley throughout her academic career. It contains research material from projects in Ainley's main areas of research, the history of ornithology and the history of early and contemporary women scientists, as well as research on the relationship between early women scientists and Aboriginal peoples. Series consists of Ainley's professional development activities throughout her career including attending and speaking at conferences. Most files include information on academic conferences and colloquia she attended and presented at. Series includes speaking notes, conference registration and programs, related research materials, overhead transparencies, slides, and photographs.

Series contains material relating to Ainley's personal projects and research and professional projects. The material consists of transcribed copies of Ainley's early articles; drafts of sections, notes, research material and correspondence relating to "Creating Complicated Lives: Women and Science at English-Canadian Universities, 1880-1980"; conference proceedings, research material, notes and correspondence relating to her research project, "Re-explorations: new perspectives on gender, environment and the transfer of knowledge in 19th and 20th century Canada and Australia"; material, predominately course descriptions and syllabi, relating to administering the Women's Studies Program at the University of Northern British Columbia; and photographs and slides relating to both her research and her personal life and hobbies. Series also contains conference proceedings, research notes, bibliographies, curricula vitae and other material.

Series consists of published materials by the McGregor Model Forest Association, the Canadian Model Forest Network, Natural Resources Canada, and other forest research organisations. Series consists predominately of printed textual materials but also includes two CD-ROMs containing published works.

Series consists of Roots & Wings theatre programs, miscellaneous correspondence, publications, press releases, newspaper clippings, guidelines and speeches pertaining to the Nisga’a Agreement in Principle (1995-1997); and a copy of the British Columbia Treaty Negotiations Referendum issued by Premier Campbell in 2002.

Series consists of treaty process advisory records, many of which came out of Dr. Robin Fisher's involvement in the Northern Interior Regional Advisory Committee. Dr. Fisher was often asked to act as a resource person, moderator, or advisor on First Nations treaty-related matters due to his knowledge of the history of First Nation-European relations.

Series consists of copies of City of Prince George records photocopied and organized by Island Cache Recovery Project researchers. Includes incoming and outgoing correspondence between the city and Island Cache residents, legal real estate and building inspection documents for Island Cache properties, and reports regarding Island Cache (Cottonwood Island).

Series consists of research material collected for the Island Cache Recovery Project. Includes resources photocopied from participants in the study (particularly material collected by Bob Parris), including newspaper articles, photographs, and personal correspondence. Also includes research material gathered by the researchers from other sources, such as copies of maps, articles, and public records.

Series consists of the 46 oral histories conducted by the Island Cache Recovery Project. A file exists for each participant in the research project, which includes the original recorded oral history on cassette tape and/or VHS, consent forms for use of the oral history, a written transcript for the oral history, and a digital version of the written transcript.
