Audio recording consists of a CBC radio show produced in Regina, Saskatchewan broadcasting a recording of Bridget Moran’s story entitled “A Child’s Christmas in Saskatchewan”. The unidentified male radio announcer introduces Moran’s story noting it is based on her memories of Christmas as a child in rural Saskatchewan c.1920s with her family. The male announcer notes that Moran “now lives in Prince George.” The story “A Child’s Christmas in Saskatchewan” is read by broadcaster Lorna Jackson.

"Alternative Silvicultural Systems in the Northern Mixedwoods of Alberta"

Film is a research summary produced by the Canadian Forest Service. As described on the video case: "Initiated in 1992, this research project was intended to test a range of harvesting and silvicultural options in reducing wind damage to residual white spruce on moist to wet sites after harvest of the deciduous overstorey. If forest managers are to successfully implement alternative silvicultural systems on these northern boreal forest sites, mitigation of windthrow will be critical to successful operations. The project also tests growth and yield, regeneration stocking standards, aesthetic and biodiversity components."

"Butterchurch" on Comiaken Hill

Photograph depicts "Butterchurch" that was built in 1870 under the direction of Father Rondeault of the Oblate Order for missionary work among the Comiakan Natives, a tribe of about 100. It was abandoned by about 1880 because of its location. It was recently restored as a historical shrine.
