It is believed that items published prior to 1922 had been collected by the Archdeacon W.H. Collison, while those published post 1922 (the year W.H. Collison passed away) were collected by both his son W.E. Collison and then his grandaughter Joyce Collison.

Subseries contains secondary material collected by Kent Sedgwick for research on the history and geography of Prince George and its region. Includes secondary sources and bibliographic references regarding the history and geography of Prince George and the Central Interior of British Columbia. The files primarily consist of photocopied articles and printed bibliographies.

Subseries consists of material collected and created by Kent Sedgwick for research relating to museums and historical societies within Prince George. Includes material regarding the Fraser Fort-George Regional Museum, the Exploration Place Museum, the Prince George Railway and Forestry Museum, the Fraser-Nechako Historical Society, the Prince George Oral History Group, and the Prince George Genealogical Society. Also includes publications such as newspapers and calendars created by the museums and societies and various materials regarding activities conducted by the institutions.

File consists of notes, clippings, and reproductions relating to the Fraser-Nechako Historical Society. Includes: "Fraser-Nechako Historical Society" handwritten membership list (11 Jan. 1989); "RE: An Historical Society be formed that answers to the Upper Fraser Region of the Fraser Basin Council" typed note and newsletter from Audrey L'Heureux (21 Aug. 2006); and "Nechako-Fraser Historical Society terms of reference" typed document (18 June 2002).

File consists of a bound work entitled "Prince George Papers: Based on a field excursion taken in the Summer semester, 1974" that was produced by a Geography 262 course Simon Fraser University taught by professor L.J. Evenden. This work includes the following student papers: "Development and Planning of Prince George 1793-2001" by Jack Pope and Doug Sheffield; "Prince George: Entertainment and recreation" by Frank Chandler; "Parks in Prince George: The attitude of change" by Jane Davidson and Gary Dodd; "Glacial Features in the Prince George Study Area, B.C". by Maynard E.W. Embree; and "City of Prince George, a study of its Parks and Recreation Facilities, 1974" by Peggy Etches. Some of Kent Sedgwick's works were cited by these papers.
