    Scope and content

This file is Cassiar's exploration to obtain a fire engine for the town and mine.

There are two photographs of a Hub Fire Engine. The Fire truck in the photographs is from the Peachland Fire Department, and was taken in West Summerland BC. The photographs were sent to Cassiar from Hub Fire Engines & Equipment Ltd. so show the equipment they would be receiving if they purchased through Hub Fire Engines. There is a price quote of $15,000 in pen on the back of one of the photographs. The other photograph has a handwritten note to Mr. Royds saying: "This is the unit we would supply, except you would only have the one reel, whereas this [photograph] shows two."

The third photograph is from La France Fire Engine & Foamite. The fire truck depicted is from Prince Albert Fire Department and is a B67 8289 model.
