          Three men stand in centre, each wearing a chief's dress and head-dress. Family members stand and sit on either side. Carved boxes and masks are positioned in foreground. The group poses in front of drapery hung against tall wooden wall.

          Community members have stated that the people in this photo are from the Gitwilluyaxw clan from the wolf tribal house of Ksdiyaawak. The photo was taken at Gitlax̱t’aamiks along the Nass River.

          Handwritten annotation on verso reads: "Tsimpshian Chiefs & family. Goods [for or fr.] Potlatch".

          A collection of postcard photographs of Port Essington BC, Port Simpson BC, Atlin, Quesnel, McBride, Hagwilget Village, Giscome, Likely, Kitwanga, Smithers, Prince Rupert BC, Prince (Fort) George BC Images depict street scenes, water scenes, community events, businesses, buildings, and aerials of the towns. Collection also depicts a number of Northern BC paddle wheelers.

          Footage of a "stink box" used in Ooligan grease production in what is assumed to be Bella Coola. Also there is footage of some men fly-fishing on a river shore, either the Bella Coola River or the Dean River. There is a close-up clip of them baiting a hook, and then a shot of the men using gaff and hook to haul fish to shore. The men display their catch for the camera and there is a panoramic view of the mountains behind them. Included are some clips of Robson's deer, and a white robin.

          Possible other locations in this film include the Atnarko region, Rainbow Mountains, Ulgoatcho Mountains and Chilcotin area.

          Series consists of the 46 oral histories conducted by the Island Cache Recovery Project. A file exists for each participant in the research project, which includes the original recorded oral history on cassette tape and/or VHS, consent forms for use of the oral history, a written transcript for the oral history, and a digital version of the written transcript.           The photographs depict the geographic areas of Stewart, BC, Boundary Pass, Nelson River, Bitter Creek Glacier, Portland Canal, Red Cliff and Bear Creek; as well as the ships “Camosun” and “S.S. Prince George.” Types of subjects identified in this collection include: community life, surveying, mining and transportation (i.e. dog-sledding, horse and buggy, and the Portland Canal Short Line Railway “P.C.S.L. Rlwy”).

          Subseries consists of material collected and created by Kent Sedgwick for research regarding parks and outdoor recreation in Prince George. Material on parks includes Fort George Park (renamed to Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park in 2015); Cottonwood Island Park; Connaught Hill; Moore's Meadow; L.C. Gunn Park; the Nechako Cutbanks; Paddlewheel Park; Monkman Provincial Park; Fraser Canyon Park; and Carp Lake. Also includes information on the creation of plaques and monuments, including the Alexander Mackenzie monument; the “Arrival of Steel” CN railway plaque; heritage interpretative signs for the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway; the Millar addition; and flooding and rivers. The files consists of various pamphlets and correspondence regarding the development of parks and the creation of interpretive materials.
